Mothers for Safe Cities

Program Overview

Mothers for Safe Cities is a healing and empowerment network, which serves as a peer support system for mothers and families of homicide victims. It is the mission of the support group to provide a safe space and atmosphere to mothers as they journey through their healing stages of grief.

Survivors and families are empowered and renewed to confidentially discuss past and present trauma, wellness check-ins, and peer support sessions. This program serves as a platform for families to practice healthy healing, guided recovery, and personal growth.

Mothers for Safe Cities has been birthed out of The GodSquad’s Mothers Support Group which was founded 10 years ago in President Pastor Monrose’s Church.
